Barbara is the Administrative Assistant to John Simmons. Before coming to the conference she worked as a legal secretary. She attends Norcross First UMC.
As a member of Norcross First UMC she has been the Chairperson of Family Ministries, a member of Council on Ministries, Administrative Board, and is a Stephens Minister. She has also completed all four of the Disciple series and the Crown Ministry course; she is also a member of GA PAUMCS. Barbara is married to Tom, has four children and three grandchildren.
