An Introduction to VoCARE: Hearing One Another into Vocation as a Leadership Training & Art
What:
What will it take to unleash the church's leadership in the world? What is our role in renewing the church to be a transformative presence of God's healing in the world? For two years the Fund for Theological Education has been exploring these questions with noted leadership and organizational theorists-Parker Palmer, Marshall Ganz, Peter Senge & Otto Scharmer. The result is VoCARE, a new approach to hearing one another into vocation, discovering the gifts of the beloved community, cultivating future church leaders and exploring a common vision and cause for what is possible for the church right now.
When:
Monday, July 12, 2010 from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm
Where:
Child Hall at The Cathedral of St. Philip
2744 Peachtree Road Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30305
